LA-UX Meet Up -- September 25, 2008

The LA Times Media Group recently hosted a social networking event on Thursday, September 25th for the "Los Angeles User Experience Meet Up (LA-UX)" which is a community of user experience and interaction design professionals that meet regularly to network and learn about their craft by interacting with fellow UX peers in their field.

This event was set up as "Design Off" geared toward invoking everyone's creative muse. The event consisted of a simple design challenge where everyone broke up into small groups and collaboratively came up with their own individual design using the arts and crafts materials provided. Each group then shared their results by providing a short presentation of their creation. Over 110 people attended and participated an evening of creative fun!
